About TEIS
Test in English for International Students known as TEIS is intended to assess the English language skills of students, who want to study or work in an English language environment.
International Recognition
TEIS is accepted by universities, colleges, and other educational institutions in almost all the major English speaking countries. It is recognised by the UK Border Agency. TEIS is also on the recognised list of English Language tests for Tier 1 & Tier 2 of the Points Based System for the UK. It is suitable for Tier 4 (student visa) applications where students are required to demonstrate competency in the English language NQF Level 6 or above. TEIS is also widely accepted by employers.
TEIS is also recognised for non-European migrants applying to come to the UK to join or marry their settled partner.

Test structure
TEIS has four aspects of English language testing skills that include speaking, listening, writing and reading.
Your language skills will be evaluated on a scale from 40 (Basic user) to 100 (Expert user).
